Our website address is https://finpulseindia.com. FinpulseIndia publishes practical guides on GST, taxation, PAN, business registration, FSSAI licensing, and free financial tools for Indian individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
Online tools and calculators
Our calculators and tools, including the PAN card photo resizer, run entirely inside your browser. Files, photos, and numbers you enter into these tools are not uploaded to our servers and are not stored by us.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms and newsletter
If you submit a message through our contact form, the information you provide (such as your name, email address, and message) is sent to our admin email address and is used only to respond to your inquiry.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address only to send you updates and articles from FinpulseIndia. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use this site, such as pages visited, time on site, and general location and device information. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or your browser’s privacy settings.
Advertising
We display advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense, to keep our content and tools free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices. To learn more about how Google uses data, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our partners use them for analytics, advertising, and site functionality, as described above.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we also set cookies to save your login information and screen display choices.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
Embedded content and third-party tools
Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example videos, images, or articles) and third-party services such as fonts, social sharing buttons, and performance tools. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website. These websites and services may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with that content under their own privacy policies.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the site, such as our hosting provider, Google (for analytics and advertising), our email and newsletter provider, and spam-detection services, or where required by law.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognise and approve follow-up comments automatically. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry. Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, erase it, or withdraw consent you have given (for example, to the newsletter). You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. These rights do not cover data we must keep for legal, administrative, or security purposes.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.
How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold, including SSL encryption on this website and access controls on our hosting and email systems. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will take prompt steps to contain it and notify affected users and authorities where required by law.

For questions about this policy, to exercise your rights, or to raise a grievance about how we handle your data, contact us through our Contact page. We aim to respond within 30 days.
